SPOKEN WORD POETRY-101
From 2008-2018, I toured 33 states: Abuja, Amsterdam, Naples, Ghana, and Kenya, performing and teaching poetry. I also slammed and won all the slams I entered. Then, I started teaching how to win slams. Some of my students became even more popular than I was for winning slams, and they kept referring younger poets to me to learn spoken word poetry. In 2018, I got really bored, sick, and tired of answering the same questions repeatedly. So, I gathered all my answers to frequently asked questions in workshops and masterclasses during those 10 years of active practice. I also compiled popular slam-winning poems and published them in a book I called "SPOKEN WORD POETRY-101." In December 2023, I sold the 10,000th copy. Two schools in the UK are currently studying the book, and there's a possibility that "SPOKEN WORD POETRY" will soon become a course in those schools, with my book as the primary text.
STICKZ & STONEZ
After publishing "SPOKEN WORD POETRY-101," my first book that addresses all frequently asked questions regarding writing and performing poetry, and includes lessons beneficial for songwriters and public speakers, I decided to write another book. This new book aims to educate poets on branding their poems and teaches financial, street, and emotional intelligence.I didn't want it to resemble a textbook; otherwise, I would have titled it "SPOKEN WORD POETRY-102" or "201." Instead, I chose to recount the humorous stories of my missteps throughout my career. Thus, the goal was to entertain and educate simultaneously. Surprisingly, the book turned out to be even more advantageous for anyone involved in creative pursuits and on the cusp of stardom.I named this book "STICKZ AND STONEZ." Similar to "SPOKEN WORD POETRY-101.

A few years ago, someone dropped a meme that made it look like all poets are broke, like the synonym for poetry is poverty.
